Long Time No Update Surf Report
My only excuse for the lack of updates as of late is that sickness has swept through our house, nailing all three of our children, plus both parents. Yes, my life is truly envious at times...
Anyhow, I'm feling good enough to go to work, so that means I'm feeling good enough to surf! Today I went out on a dawn patrol session which was beautiful but lacking in surf. I was the first person in the water, and it remained that way for a blissful 20 minutes or so.
At lunch, I went out again hoping that the change in tide and local wind swell may produce better conditions than those found this morning. I was right, and had a very nice lunch time surf break. The waves weren't big, but they were peeling and coming in non-stop. Top that off with your typical gorgeous southern California day, and I wouldn't rather spend my lunches any other way.
