Election Day Surf Report
After being out of the water for two weeks due to the first rain in San Diego county for over 180 days (and hence the bacteria laden run-off which streams into the ocean), it was great getting back into the water yesterday and today. The waves were small but glassy today, with the water crystal clear. There are a ton of fish in the lineup, and the pelicans are enjoying them immensely. The water temperature has definately dropped a bit over the last two weeks, but with the sun out in the afternoon it is still comfortable in a spring suit.
It looks as if Southern California could get a nice NW swell on Thursday, so keep your fingers crossed!
