Friday Double-Shot Surf Report
Today was the first time in a while that I surfed in the early AM. The waves looked smooth, but small from the top of the stairs on the way down. However, by the time we paddled out into the line up, some good chest to head high sets were coming through. Unfortunately for me, I managed to cut my foot and ding my board, all in the same session.
Taping up both the ding in my board and the ding in my foot, we went down to the same location at lunch. The wind had picked up considerably, and the waves were junky and blown out. After battling my way out through the white water, I caught a few and then made my way back to work. The weather today has been gorgeous, and it looks as if it will continue through the weekend. Spring is in the air!
