Flat as a Lake Surf Report
Well, almost. The weather here in San Diego has been effing magnificent, but the waves have been in the 1 foot range for the last few days. Temperatures on the coast are probably in the 80s, and inland is seeing temperatures in the 90s. Today I probably could have trunked it - it was that nice in the water.
I'm repairing a ding in my 6'8" Rat surfboard, and since the waves were small and forgiving, I thought I'd take out the small 6'0" thruster that was my brother's from many years ago. I actually managed to get up a couple of times on the small board, so a moral victory was declared and I headed back to work.
