Monday Afternoon Surf Report
I've been real busy at work the last few days, and haven't been able to update the lunch break surf report as often as I would have liked. Still, better late than never.
Last Thursday, a power outage struck our office, and we were forced to surf instead of work. Oh, the horror. We went up to Oceanside and surfed some nice, chest-high sets with one clean up set rolling through and blowing me clean inside. Now THAT reminds me of winter!
Friday saw the best surf at our regular lunch time haunt in the last several weeks. It wasn't great, but the size was above average and the water was nice and smooth. Today, the red tide was back in full force, and it wasn't as nice out as it was on Friday. I managed to catch a few of the larger set waves that made their way in, and called it a lunch. Not too bad...
