New Board Surf Report
So I took my new board out for the first time today, and it was eye-opening to feel the difference in maneuverability and weight between the new 6'8" and my older 7'6". The new board feels like it can turn on a dime and float down the whitewater - what a feeling! I caught the first wave I went for, and confidence was high after that initial pop-up was made. Too bad the waves pretty much sucked, but I still had an ear-to-ear smile at the end of the session!
